The Maasin City Division Athletic Meet 2024 opened with great anticipation and community spirit at the Southern Leyte Sunken Garden, bringing together seven delegates from across the division. Among the competitors, the Saint Joseph College Baby GreenHawks are proudly representing their school with a strong contingent of over 212 student-athletes, coaches, and trainers from the elementary level.
Leading the delegation, School President Very Rev. Msgr. Oscar A. Cadayona and Sports Director Mr. Dante Monter highlighted the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication, setting an inspiring tone for the event. Elementary Principal Mrs. Rosemarie Cortel also joined the opening ceremony, offering her support and encouragement to the young athletes.
The SJC Baby GreenHawks are geared up and fully prepared to bring their best efforts to each event, embodying the school’s values of perseverance and excellence. With determination and focus, these young athletes are ready to leave their mark on the field, representing Saint Joseph College with pride.
