The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) local chapter of Saint Joseph College participated in the 27th Regional Mid-Year Convention (RMYC) on November 22-24, held at Saint Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) in Palo, Leyte.
Themed, “Heroes of the Pantheon: An Odyssey of Valor”, the convention brought together student representatives from different schools across the region with accountancy and accounting-related programs to compete in both academic and non-academic leagues. This year’s competition was particularly intense as participants displayed remarkable talent, teamwork and academic prowess.
The three-day event concluded with SJC-JPIA standing out among the local chapters, securing 1st Runner-Up in the Non-Academic events category, 4th place in the Academic League, and overall 2nd runner-up.
