The Saint Joseph College Educative Family led and organized an institutional outreach program earlier this morning, December 20, 2024, at the Combado gym, Maasin City. The recipients of this yearโs gift giving, the residents of Barangay Combado, were gathered at the covered court feeling happy and joyed for the blessings that had given and extended by the institution.
The program was started with a meaningful prayer headed by the Campus Ministry, together with the few working scholars who performed a very short play, portraying the life of Mother Mary, Saint Joseph and the child Jesus Christ, a wonderful and relevant reminder for this Christmas season manifesting gift and eternal love.
The Vice-President for Administration and dean of the College of Computer Studies, Maam Riza Lynn Siega, delivered an inspiring Christmas message to the recipients. As she gave her short speech for everyone, she had emphasized the true meaning of Christmas which is about giving and sharing what you have to others. She said that regardless of the gift one had received, everyone should always be grateful and thankful to the Almighty Providence for the blessings.
On the other hand, the officials of barangay Combado, headed by Hon. Rodley Galleon, extended their heartfelt gratitude towards the Saint Joseph College Educative Family for the community outreach program that the institution had initiated.
Smiles on their faces, the recipients of the Pamasko ni San Jose merrily lined up and received their Christmas gifts, bringing home the joy and some bundles to relish this Christmas holiday.
