On January 11, 2025, the Civil Engineering Department of Saint Joseph College held its second Hard-Hatting Ceremony and Rite of the Calling of an Engineer at the Bishop Hacbang Gym. This event celebrated the dedication and aspirations of 4th-year Civil Engineering students, marking their readiness to gain real-world experience through internships.

The ceremony featured the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the donning of hard hats, and the Rite of the Calling of an Engineer. The hard hats symbolized the students’ preparedness for the field and their commitment to being responsible and God-fearing civil engineering interns.

This milestone recognized the students’ hard work and inspired them to carry forward the values they have embraced as they start their engineering careers. The event also expressed appreciation for the proud parents and families who attended, showing their strong support for their loved ones’ achievements.
