In its endeavour to produce future competent professionals, the Criminology Department facilitated a training for its instructors on the installation and utilization of the newly purchased โDACTYSCOPE PRO FINGERPRINT COMPARISON WORKSTATIONโ.
The LUCIA DactyScope software, as an efficient solution for fast fingerprint comparison, enables the operator to visualize fingerprints lifted with gelatin foils or directly on objects.
It can also serve as a platform for digital comparison of fingerprints captured by other devices. All common image formats plus NIST, WSQ, RAW, and PDF are supported.
A software from the Laboratory Imaging s.r.o Forensic Examination Systems based in the Czech Republic, Dactyscope offers the following Highlights:

*Brightness adjustments (curves) with indication of overexposed pixels, shading correction, local contrast
