The 9th Elementary Alumni Homecoming of Saint Joseph College was held on February 01, 2025, at the Bishop Hacbang Gym. Themed, “I love to live, I live to love the Josephinian way”, the event gathered elementary alumni across different batch for a reunion and celebration.
An outreach activity was held in the morning at Cansirong Elementary School, followed by the motorcade of the Alumni Queen 2024, Jubilarians and SJC JHS band, with the route SJC-Pasay-Combado-SJC at 2:00 in the afternoon. A holy mass was then offered, presided by Fr. Jersen Jerome Paler, which was followed by the selection of Instant Queen and dinner.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Mrs. Noreen S. Buhat, Alumni Relations Director; followed by the President’s Report by Mr. Biane Bascug Garde, Elementary Alumni President, and the Presentation of Jubilarians & Clusters. Mrs. Nivea B. Pelin performed a song before the audience and guests.
During the presentation of the instant queen candidates, Mrs. Florabel E. Tse, the Elementary Alumni Treasurer, presented the treasurer’s report which was then followed by the canvassing and acknowledgement. Mrs. Estrellita B. Plarisan from Batch 1966-1967 gave an inspirational message before the farewell walk of Alumni Queen 2024, Mrs. Joy Padilla-Bascug from Batch 1983-1984.
The announcement and coronation of runners-up and queen, serenade, royal march and dance, mass dance and raffle draw then followed at the later part of the event.
