The Biblio Dance Drama Competition was a spectacular showcase of faith, artistry, and storytelling, held on February 13, 2025, at Saint Joseph College โ Mambajao Campus as part of Family Day III, for the first time. Students from the ABM, STEM, and HUMSS Clusters took the stage to bring scripture to life through expressive dance and drama, captivating the audience with their creativity and passion.
This yearโs theme centered around Mark 4:35 and Luke 8:22โโLet us cross to the other side.โ Each cluster interpreted this passage uniquely, weaving movement, emotion, and visual elements into their performances. The result was a mesmerizing display of graceful choreography, powerful storytelling, and symbolic props and costumes, all working together to convey messages of faith and perseverance.
The competition was not only a test of technical skill but also of the studentsโ ability to connect with the audience on a deeper level. Every performance carried meaning beyond the dance itself, reflecting the dedication and hard work poured into even just a few days of preparation. The stage became a space where art met spirituality, allowing students to express profound themes through movement.
While each cluster delivered an outstanding performance, the event was more than just a contestโit was a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and the power of creativity. Through their efforts, the participants demonstrated that dance is not just an art form but also a means of storytelling and worship.
As the competition concluded, the echoes of applause lingered, a testament to the impact of the performances. The Biblio Dance Drama Competition left a lasting impression on all who witnessed it, proving that when faith and art come together, the result is truly extraordinary.
