The assembly discussed the events and plans from the previous semester, as well as the plans for the ongoing semester.
The event started with an opening remark from the CLA Governor Ms. Keirsten Ulbora, welcoming the students to the assembly. This was followed by the awarding of the department’s Dean’s Listers, acknowledging their efforts and achievements from last semester.
Then, the Department Secretary, Ms. Aloha Liwanan, and the Department Treasurer, Mr. Manuel Corollo, discussed the Secretary’s Report and Transparency Report reminding the students of the agreed terms and ensuring that the departmental funds were used for the appropriate expenses.
After the following events, the Election of Officers took place as each student nominated their chosen candidate for each position. The crowd anticipates as each position has been filled with students who are highly regarded for their actions and contributions for the sake of the department.
Congratulations on a successful General Assembly and to the newly elected officers for the next academic year.
