The Campus Development Projects of Saint Joseph College encompassed a series of initiatives aimed for enhancing the infrastructure and facilities of the institution in order to provide a conducive environment for learning and growth. These projects included the following: Expansion of Bishop Cantillas Gym, New Institutional Building (SHS Building 3), Nursing Building (SHS Phase 2), Shalom Retreat House Restoration, VOCTRAC Building 1 & 2 Expansion, Crim. Shooting Range (Ibarra) and the renovation of JHS Health Education Facility.
- Bishop Cantillas Gym Expansion:
The construction for the expansion of Bishop Cantillas Gym was partially completed within the stipulated timeframe and budget. The Gym now stands as a state-of-art facility to cater school programs and the physical activities needs of student, faculty members and stakeholders.
- New Institutional Building (SHS Building 3)
The New SJC Institutional Building was a significant addition to the campus infrastructure, providing additional classrooms, commercial spaces, and common areas for students, faculty and staff. The building was designed to foster a conducive learning environment and promote collaboration among the college community.
- New Nursing Building (SHS Building 2 ):
The construction of Nursing Building marked a milestone in the development of the institution for our new Nursing Course offered for this academic year 2024-2025. In this building, the modern Nursing laboratory and New College Library is located. It also provides additional classrooms for college and Senior High School Department. The project will be completed with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Shalom Building Restoration:
The Shalom Building project aims to create a dedicated space for extracurricular activities, student organizations, and cultural events. The building now serves as a hub for creativity and innovation providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and interests beyond the classroom.
- VOCTAC BUILDING 1 and 2 Expansion
The VOCTAC Expansion project focused on enhancing vocational and technical training facilities within the campus. The expansion included the additional new workshops, training rooms, and equipment to support hands-on learning experiences for students pursuing vocational education.
- Ibarra Firing Range:
The Ibarra Firing Range project was designed to provide a safe and controlled environment for firearms training and practice. The range now meets industry standards for safety and functionality, ensuring that students receive comprehensive training in firearm handling.
- Junior High School Health Education Facility:
The renovation of Junior High School Heath Education Facility project was aimed at promoting health and wellness education among Junior and Senior High school students and well as TESDA related courses. The facility is equipped with classrooms, laboratories, and resources to support comprehensive health education programs for students.
