Saint Joseph College, Maasin, Leyte

The Saint Joseph College – College of Teacher Education (SJC-CTE) secured victory in Hot Shots: The Quiz Battle – Regional Level held on March 21, 2025, in Tacloban City, Leyte. The competition was part of the 2025 Fire Prevention Month observance, themed “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.”

Representing Southern Leyte, SJC-CTE’s team—Alexa Arañez, Kristine Dolorito, and Jomar Junasa—clinched the top spot with a final score of 665, outperforming seven other teams from various provinces. The team was coached by Mr. Jhoremar M. Asis.
